It looks like lansdale passengers haven't been forgotten about, however warminster has, and those poor Cynwyd passengers don't even get a train anymore, mods feel free to delete this pointless post

Neither.

Yours gives us useful information, even though it is available elsewhere.

The other poster expressed the type of opinion that I get carried away and post sometimes. Okay, a lot. So I wouldn't call it "pointless".

Just had a random thought about the Airport Line.

Could Airport trains simply run between Suburban and the Airport bypassing Eastwick (the only low platform station on the line) which would allow SEPTA to lease Metro-North M8s for that line and redeploy Silverliners to lines that really need them?

Allot of people use the Eastwick station to get on other modes of Septa transportation and for the free parking, bypassing that station would not make people happy.

They supposedly have enough Silverliner IVs to maintain the weekend schedules.
Does anyone know if this is for sure? They'll need maintenance windows somewhere for the SL IVs right?

Can the M8's run on 25Hz? Isn't the ex-New Haven now 12KV 60 Hz?
No, they cannot run on 25hz ... If they ever run into NYP via the HellGate it would be under 3rd rail & not catenary.

IIRC, there was interest in having the M8's being 25hz capable, but that was shelved due to weight concerns.

That actually is correct. The IV's are more than enough for the normal weekend schedules. In past, it was a rarity to see a Budd/Louie Silverliner II/III set out on the rails on weekends.
But now, with keeping the IV's running as much as possible, it means the recent bunch of tagged cars (and one Bomber coach was spotted tagged almost end to end on Friday) will be out and about without getting cleaned for much longer than usual, and the vandals know this.

I'm assuming "tagged" as in "spray painted in graffiti". On July 5th, there were about five cars that had been "tagged" in this way waiting to be cleaned at Overbrook. Saw them sitting there while I was on the Pennsylvanian going back to 30th street for my transfer to Baltimore.

A couple of cars had graffiti on them on the 12th and I also saw some Silverliner V cars in Overbrook shop tracks with graffiti
