Yeah, Turner's Island looked full to me with those same cars from the other side of the water a few weeks ago. Business must be picking up for them.

Are those a bunch of covered hoppers? I can see the gons and the boxcar, but It's hard to tell, my eyesight isn't great.

Actually, there appears to be 20 covered hoppers in the second photo. I zoomed in. There is also a boxcar and 2 gondolas there.

They look like high sided gons. I don't know why they would have covered hoppers there unless they were scrapping them. Which they could be lol. It's tough to tell what they are with 100% certainty.

The other day I saw a long string of tank cars on the track east of the Broadway crossing, going to Turner's Island. Any ideas as to what's going on with them? Scrapping outdated tank cars, maybe?

I saw them too. I'll try to get a better look when I go by there again this evening.
