Nice picture. The livery is still ugly, though. I saw in the On the BiLevel that they were going to start painting the rebuilds.

By the way, has anyone seen 97 lately? What about 98 and 99?

I think the yellow-red-yellow stripe would look better if it went orange-brown, and was left off the front.

The problem is that the livery was designed for the MP36 which is more rounded. The stripe goes across the sides diagonally. It just doesn't look right the way it was implemented on the F59.

I did see 97 last week, backing a train into CUS at around 4:15pm. It was out by itself.

What is the current status? Are all three now in service?

I have only seen 97 out and about.

Saw 97 moving around the west end of Western Ave. yard this morning. I have yet to see the others.

There was a second F59 at Western Avenue last night. It was way in the back, but I think it was 99.

97 is leading 120 on the break-in train.

All three were sitting coupled together on the west side of the shop at Western Ave. last night.

99 was in service this morning on the break-in train.

97 was out on the Milwaukee West Line this morning. I believe it was on 2220.

It was on 2220. Unfortunately, I was on 2214 which was basically operating on 2220's schedule while wrong-railing Roselle to Bensenville around a dead train..

97 and 99 have been hanging out on the east end of the shops at Western Ave. for the better part of a week. Don't know where 98 is. These locos ran for years in Canada, I wonder what modifications done to them have caused them to become unreliable.

97 and 99 were double-heading last night's 2237 (5:17pm departure) so should have been pushing this morning's 2216.

This morning 97 was on the break-in train behind an F40 and 99 was hangin' outside the shop at Western Ave.
