The AC Line trains have operating restrooms.

I was driving near the Atlantic City Line in Pomona and caught a glimpse through the trees of what appeared to be some kind of inspection train. It was a single unit and I believe it had TGV on the side. Wish I had a better look, but anyone know what it is?
Thanks.

Train 4623 was a holdover from the Miss America and Pope Francis enhanced equipment trains with an ALP45-DP and six cars, but an equipment move was right behind it with four cars pushed by a PL42-AC.

Because only Comet V cabs are used anymore.

NJT brought a fully loaded rail train from the MMC, down the NEC, and to the ACL with 4205 leading and F40s 4119 & 4120 on the rear. It went south through RACE early Friday morning at 05:50 and went down to the 'LICA' passing siding. It was there yesterday afternoon. There is also a ballast hopper on it still sporting a very faded NYC logo.
Rail is being dropped this week with the actual replacement not scheduled until sometime in 2018.

I believe it has to deal with the stability/structural ability of the cab in a crash (or lack thereof.)
