All looks good
Even the paint job?
The original color scheme wasn't bad, but that "herald" on the long hood needs to go. Whoever did that should be arrested anytime he's found in possession of paint. Damn taggers. Image

Should get some taggers to do an M&E inspired paint job over that crud. At least until a total repaint can occur.

Thanks for the update Rudy. That will brighten up a fairly sad week on the M&E.
Cheers

Freshly-painted M&E #23 will be in Boonton, NJ on Sunday, September 20th for the NJ Transportation Heritage Festival. This is your opportunity to tour one of the M&E's working freight locomotives, alongside the historic railroad collection of the United Railroad Historical Society of NJ!

Wow - it turned out absolutely beautiful. Better than I'd imagined. Excellent excellent job. This might have been asked earlier, I missed it - but where will this be operating? It will be nice to get action shots while it's still shiny and bright.
Thanks,
Bigdell

I missed my train in Morristown so I went for a walk...

Here are a few more photos, demonstrating M&E's collection of antique outdoor traction motor and wheelset collection :-)

Nice passenger cars parked there, by the way.

The M&E has bought 3 MP15s from NS, they are in good running shape and should be arriving at Morristown from Roanoke in next week or so.They were part of a 76 locomotive sale that NS just had, 2 of the MP15s maybe
assigned to the Bayway plant at Linden, N.J.

How many locos are currently assigned to Bayway? How many cars processed?
