Are these two units still on the roster and are (were) they used on regional rail or the subway system?

If you do a Google Maps satellite view of Fern Rock maintenance facility, both units can still be seen in Septa orange at different spots in the yard. There's no date on the shot but it appears to be relatively current. I believe they have both only ever been used as shop switchers at Fern Rock.

The two center cab units, one old and one new, are based at Fern Rock and are used for tunnel work when the power is turned off. The newer engine has been problematic from the first day on sight forcing the post war side rodder to work long after it should have been allowed to take it easy. ;-) You can still hear the WABCO air whistle as it moves around the shop.
