Personally, I'd recommend the North Bank Bridge rather than the Gilmore Bridge. Rather than a busy road, you'd be on a pedestrian-only bridge that spans the throat of North Station a stone's throw from the lift bridges. There's no view of BET, but you do get the Zakim Bridge and the lift bridges in your photos.

Thanks for all the replies, including the viewing location suggestions. We intend to ride the following locos if we see them so will be based at either North or South stations. Any recent sightings of the following in service with appropriate cab car loco would be appreciated as we will be in Boston on Thursday: -

IIRC, I saw 1119 with 1802 on the Worcester line on Monday.

You might as well cross the 1132 off your list, it's not in operating condition and won't be again possibly.

010 is Southside, can't remember if the 011 is still. You are correct 3247 on that pairing, still together as of tonight. IIR, I'll grab a runsheet and post the pairings of the requests you asked for

Got most of what I came for, 1006 eluded me however, not being out yesterday.

as of Friday night, Southside....1074-1530 010-1711 011-1508 1119-1802 All other units that you request are either North side in service or at BET
