This AM's (8/16/14) Flyer consist had only 8 cars and the 1119 (N) and 010 (S). The 1711 had been removed. Having a train with 9 cars and two engines would have been impossible to store in Hyannis yard and allow the scenic trains to access the yard.

CSR in Hyannis told me 100 on the button
got off there this morning....

Judging by the empty bi level cars, I dont think too many people were on the northbound out of Hyannis

Dont know about the ridership levels but this weekends Flyer has the 010 leading south and the 1711 leading north.

A little more than 20, less than 30. 27 is popping in my head. I rode it last night, round trip.

This weekends consist had 010 south and 1711 north, but the 1059 capped the 1711 northbound for at least Sunday

A nice article about the woman that manages the cafe car on the CapeFlyer.

Just goes to show that it takes many people to create a successful operation.

MBTA Extra 010 just cleared Bay @ 6:45 (late because of police in Middleboro) with 267 passengers aboard.
