I just saw a picture that Titan Ads has posted of a red line car wrapped inside for Jet blue.
I believe it is Boston's first interior wrap? What does anyone think about this?

Not sure if the link I copied will work as it came of my phone.

Although we dont have wraps, we have those JetBlue Pigeons on the Blue Line too. I really like them.

Does anyone know which cars have the interior wraps now?

01839 is one of the cars with the interior wrapped, the wrap looks really good and brightens the whole car! :-D

01885 also has it

I rode on one of these the other day and didn't think anything of it. It was about 5 on Thursday and I was focused on finding a space for me, so I didn't notice the ceiling or doors. Nice. If the T can make money selling silent ad space, I say go for it- they need the money.

I note in that Boston Magazine article it says that Titan 360 paid the MBTA $12m in 2013 for "exclusive rights to stations and train cars".
The London Underground contracted out 5 years in 2010 to CBS Outdoor for $1.6bn, or over $300m a year. I know the London Underground is much bigger than the MBTA, but it really smells like the MBTA got a really bad deal.

What percentage of London trains and stations have advertising in them compared to Boston? That might have something to do with it.

The contract gives Titan 360 exclusive rights to all. So surely they could put as many posters up as the Underground if they so chose. But yes - the advertising on the T is very noticeably bare, and pitched at a very low level compared to the Tube. Someone is missing a trick and a large sum of potential revenue

A number of cars now have both an interior and exterior ad wrap for Emirates Airlines. They include 01804,01806.01840, and maybe more.
