wow, that is was twisted heap of metal. What are those other tracks in the background i see in some pics? Also, did they determine the cause of this wreck?

Those tracks you see led to the Sterling Hill (NJ Zinc) mine in Ogdensburg NJ. They were once the NYS&W Hanford Branch, and the original mainline of the New Jersey Midland RR.
