Just wondering how many miles are they going to rip out and what pound rail it is?Thanks for any info.

is this the one that crosses route 2? i'm not sure what town it's in...

Nothing is going to be ripped out.

Remember, most of this thread 9 years old.

The rail is 85#, Maryland, Lackawanna or Bethlem Steel, rolled 1911, 1913 and 1921, installed as relay rail 1929-1932, 4 hole Weber or Angle Bar Joints, Clematis Brook to about MP 24.5, about 2 miles of 100# Scranton Steel 1891, installed 1925, 6 hole angle bar joints, about one more mile of 85# Lackawanna Steel 1916, put down in 1927 and the remainder to Berlin was 75#, 1897 Pittsburgh Steel, 4 hole Weber joints installed 1906.
