I believe the 3810 was reactivated not too long ago. Nice to see they didn't repaint it!

Spotted 5401 with half its hood gone at Juniata shops.

Speaking of blue loco's... does anyone have an update on 8312? It appearently had it's engine modified and was put back together and sent to altoona for emissions testing. No word on what happened after that. Is it being put back into service?

Saw that there is now just 8 blue loco's left on NS roster. The 2 sd38's 3804 & 3810 have been retired? Just 6 sd 50's left and the 2 dash-8's.

Yes, they're gone. NS purged the remaining PC/CR SD38s from its roster this summer.

Sorry for the late post but SD50 5420 was at Edgemoor, DE yard monday morning as part of the 64/65N crude oil train consist. Still proudly wearing the CR Quality paint.

NS 5443 is in Altoona now about to be cut up.

Cut up? Or is it going to be converted to a SD40E?

Thanks,
Charlie

Cut in order to become a 40E.
