For anyone interested in seeing doubleheaded mainline steam in action, the Walker Transportation Collection at the Beverly Historical Society & Museum will be presenting a 2 hour video of Chinese steam taken last year by member Jay Monty on Tuesday Evening, March 8th, at 7 PM sharp.

The video documents the last 100% mainline standard gauge steam operation in the world, in its final year of use. We see dozens of locomotives in action, doubleheaded 2-10-2s, freight, passenger, and even enjoy some cab rides over dramatic mountain passes. This is one you won't want to miss.

Location:
Beverly Historical Society & Museum
117 Cabot Street
Beverly, MA 01915

Admission is free, and all are welcome. Light refreshments will be served.
For more info call: 978-922-1186
or, go to www.beverlyhistory.org and look under EVENTS.

Hope to see many of you there.

Thanks!

Due to the storm last evening, only a few people were able to attend the screening, so we will schedule another showing later in the year.

Those who made it through the snow and ice last night enjoyed the video.
