• Is 24-RL Brake Equipment used on MBTA commuter locomotives?

Are any of the MBTA commuter rail passenger service locomotives equipped with 24-L brake equipment, or are all equipped with 26-L (or later) and/or are self-lapping?

I would say that the power has 26L or newer. 24RL went out in the 1950s. The GP9s and E8s would have been the last with 24.

Thanks, Spike, for the info. . . I guess taking the four lessons B7 through B10 from REB was taking four lessons in railway archeology. But I kept thinking that maybe Rube Goldberg should have been retired from the design team though.

No EP brakes just graduated release.
