These photos come from the collection of Harold K. Vollrath. Mr. Vollrath
has an extensive collection of railroad photographs of all Class 1 railroads
up to the 1940s. While most of his collection is of steam power, it also
includes diesels, equipment and structures. He also has photographs of short
line, logging, and industrial roads.
