The P&W SD70M-2 4302 made its way down on CHFP to Long Island. Pretty impressive from the Florida East Coast to Queens, NY.

Looks like they lowered the radiator fans a bit to make them fit, though.

Were these pictures taken after the incident with the conductor? The train arrived at Fremont around 5:00p. Anybody know when the equipment went back north?

On railpictures.net I saw a picture of the first P&W engine to be painted into G&W. At least we'll get to see widecabs and maybe passenger cars in the G&W scheme.

Captions mention others in the queue to be repainted including the SD70s.
Seems wasteful to repaint engines whose paint is so recent.
Theirs to do with as they please I guess. Corporate image must be very important to them.
